Echocardiogram & Nuclear Stress Test

Echocardiogram & Nuclear Stress tests are used to help your doctor diagnose heart problems. Echocardiogram can show damage to the heart, defects in the chambers and blood vessels, pumping strength and valve problems. A Nucelar Stress test uses a radioactive dye and an imaging machine to create images of the blood flow to your heart. These tests allow us to detect heart problems early and establish a treatment plan to imrprove your heart health. Cardiologist interpretation of your test results is available on Tuesday & Thursday and a transcribed reading will be available within 24 hours following the Cardiologist’s interpretation.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

An MRI Test (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a test that allows us to diagnose disease or injury without exposing you to any radiation. This machine uses powerful magnets and radio waves to view the soft tissues of the body and is frequently used to diagnose issues of the nervous system. An MRI scan can be used to detect brain tumors and injury, stroke, infection, blockages of blood vessels, issues of the spine, and much more. A transcribed reading of your MRI results will be available within 24 hours.

Ultrasound

Our cutting edge Ultrasound equipment is designed with you – our patients – in mind. Ultrasound is used in multiple ways as a means for diagnosis, creating images of soft tissue structures such as the gallbladder, liver, kidneys, pancreas, bladder and other organs. Ultrasound can also measure the flow of blood in arteries to detect blockages which can help detect, and possibly prevent, a heart attack or stroke. A transcribed reading of your ultrasound results will be available within 24 hours and a verbal reading for STAT orders within 10-45 minutes.

X-ray Services

A Bone X-ray uses a very small dose of radiation to produce pictures of the bones in your body. X-rays are most commonly used to diagnose bone fractures or dislocated joints. This exam requires no special preparation though your doctor may ask you to wear a gown in order to get the best X-ray possible.
